The Wild Inn opened in June 2019 at 38 Banks Road in West Kirby, run by brothers Liam and Sean Wilding on a site that had previously traded as Scout. The single bar is decorated with a montage of record sleeves and Americana, reflecting the brothers' own musical background, and hosts live music most weekends alongside a regular quiz night. The drinks list runs to cocktails, beer, wine and coffee rather than a conventional pub range. Their parents, Sue and Marc, remain closely involved behind the scenes, and the venue has grown from a small bar into one of West Kirby's regular live music fixtures.
